Create art and friendships in a wonderful, safe, encouraging space.

A community for exploration and expression, for daring, taking risks, for sharing and surprises!

A gentle space for rediscovering your flow, voice and presence.

Painting intuitively can become a daily spiritual practice - full of discovery and self-compassion.
I've been painting with Rowena for over a year now and can highly recommend her work.
Where do I start? Intuitive painting can shift creative blocks, bring in all kinds of insights, offer up new perspectives, help you make connections in ways you simply couldn't do just on the power of thinking alone... it's a wonderful practice of self-acceptance, non-judgement, and just joyfulness. Among many other things!
I'm not doing it justice because the power of it is in the doing. So if you feel called, do it!

Wonderful intuitive painting yesterday, on painting & presence (see link-tree in bio)? 'The aliveness of the line creates this moment in presence' - Kimon Nicolaides Quiet intuitive painting after guided meditation .... & then slow contour drawing, not looking at the paper... being guided more by the sense of touch rather than by sight. Being present in the moment with the daffodil, drawing only when feeling connected with, and as if touching, the point on the petal/stem rather than the paper. Some photos of the drawings and paintings... ✨painting as presence process, not outcome. On such a wild, storm Dennis day, so wonderful to paint together, thank you ? ... ...and so perfect for intuitive painting - 'Om Anandham Namah' - My actions are blissfully free from attachment to outcome .. ... Also music, oracle cards and tea ... ?? .. #intuitive #painting #intuitivepainting #contourdrawing #aliveness #presence #mindfulness #heartfulness #daffodils #dancing #pencildrawing #inkstagram #wellbeing #joy #meditation #nonjudgement #flowers #flow #spiritualpractice #processpainting #wonder #slow #slowpainting #seeing #senses #daffodils #energy

So pleased to be flowing again. Can't thank you enough.

These are relaxed, friendly weekly workshops - every Saturday 2-4pm - in the hall next to St Thomas Church, Heamoor.

We will explore painting intuitively - including ways to begin.

Finding your creative flow.

Painting as process, not to be 'good' (there is no 'right or wrong') ...letting go of control and self-judgement, and end results about 'what ought to be'.

Being open to surprises, and layering/painting over... the first layer is not the last!

Mark-making, adding text, collage, finger-painting, mixing media...

There is an upstairs space for painting to music, dancing too if you wish! (It's a little cold so wear a jumper, although there is a heater.)

We will explore painting after meditation/silent sitting - depending also on the interests of the group...

'I am really grateful for the safe space you've created in the class.
It is especially precious to me'

'Look what I saw on my walk home - after pulling out that 'lilac' card today :)

I really enjoyed today's 'water' painting and smiled all the way home - still smiling in fact! Thank you, Rowena!'
